Privacy policy.
This Privacy Policy describes how Workfloor ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit our website, request a demo, or use our services. We're a small operations company building AI systems for HVAC contractors. We try to keep this short and honest.
1. Information we collect
We collect two kinds of information:
- Information you give us. Your name, business name, work email, phone number, and any details you share when you fill out a form or talk to us — for example, when booking a discovery call or requesting a free audit.
- Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we collect basic technical details: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring URL, and approximate location (city level). This is used to understand site traffic and improve the product.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to demo requests and discovery-call bookings.
- Build and operate the AI system for clients who sign on.
- Communicate with you about our services, including responding to questions and sending booking confirmations.
- Improve our website and product.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that help us run the business — for example, email and scheduling tools. These providers are bound by confidentiality and only use the data to provide their service to us.
- Authorities when required by law (subpoenas, court orders, fraud prevention).
- Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale. We'll tell you if that happens.
4. Cookies and tracking
We use a small set of cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working (for example, remembering that you've dismissed a popup) and to measure traffic. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers. You can control cookies in your browser settings.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as it's needed for the purposes described above, then delete it. If you request deletion, we'll purge your data from our systems within 30 days. See our Data Handling page for details.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the information we have about you, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, email support@getworkfloor.com.
7. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information — encryption in transit, access controls, and limited employee access. No system is perfect, but we treat your data like our own.
8. Children
Our services are for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we'll delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy in a meaningful way, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. For material changes, we'll also notify customers by email.
